David Thybert is doing his PhD in the lab of Cellular and Molecular Interactions at the University of Rennes I in France. He is currently the vice-president of the RSG-France.

Anne-Laure Gaillard is doing her PhD at the Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique at the University of Bordeaux I in France. She is currently the secretary of the RSG-France.

Cedric Saule is doing his PhD at the Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique at the University Paris Sud 11 in Orsay in France. He is currently the treasurer of the RSG-France.

Virginie Bernard is doing her PhD in the Plant Genomics Research Unit at Evry in France.

Florent Bourasse is working in BioSolution.

Loic Pauleve is doing his PhD at the Institut de Recherche en Communications et Cybernetique in Nantes in France.

Marie-France Sagot is leading the Baobab team at the University Claude Bernard in Lyon I in France. She is the co-chair of ISMB/ECCB 2009 in Stockholm.

Guy Perriere is affiliated to the Bioinformatics and Evolutionary Genomics Group at the University Claude Bernard in Lyon I in France. He is currently the president of the French Society for Bioinformatics (SFBI).
